I have finally finished the dreaded Girlfriend Shrug. I won't even dare mention how long it took to make as it was way too long. Lesson learned: size 2 needles are not my thing. lol As happy as I am to be finished, it was a bit of a disappointment as it barely fits. I recommend adding more length across the back...the ribbing makes it a little tighter than it appears and she has to put her arms straight up in order to get it on.

Awesome! Looks cute on your daughter. I am with you on the size 2 needles--NO THANKS! LOL
She looks just adorable in it. That much plain knitting on little needles would have taken me a year to knit. I don't mind little needles as long as there's some pattern going on or something.
Aw, how cute is she? I want to knit up a few little light weight cotton shrugs for M to wear with her sun dresses. I hate the idea of her walking around with bare shoulders.
It is very nice, and your model is beautiful in it! :)

Beautiful!! I hate little needles, too. I bought a Rowan book a few years ago...then got home and realized it was 90% patterns with sz. 2 or 3 needles. Ick. Haven't knitted anything in it yet. :0
I love it! Very cute, and your model is too sweet.
